Hina Khan’s father died after suffering a cardiac arrest on April 20. Hina who was in her native place Kashmir for work, urgently flew back to Mumbai after her father’s sudden demise. Hina shared a close bond with her father. Sometime back, the actress had also shared a video featuring her father that had taken social media by the storm.
Actress Gauahar Khan’s father Zafar Ahmed Khan passed away on March 5 after being hospitalised for a few days. Gauahar had earlier taken to social media to share photographs from the hospital and had urged to pray for the well-being of her beloved father. Gauahar’s brother Zakiaz Khan also shared a post to pay his last respects to his father on social media.
C.I.D. fame Vaishnavi Dhanraj also lost her father on March 12. Her father was 63 years old. The actress shared a heartfelt note on social media and wrote how her father has always been a pillar of strength and inspiration.
Anupamaa actor Ashish Mehrotra’s father passed away on April 23. The actor shared the news on social media, writing, “My happy face… spreading smile all around…And your jumping bhangra step…This is just how i want to keep you with me always papa..#papa #rip #prayers”.
Lastly, Paras Kalnavat, who plays the role of Ashish’s onscreen brother in Anupamaa too lost his father this year. The actor’s father passed away on March 27 and he shared a heartfelt note on social media mourning the demise of his dad Bhushan Kalnawat.
