MUMBAI : Shark Tank India is one of the most loved and successful reality shows on television. After 2 successful seasons, the third season has now begun. In this season the sharks are Ritesh Agarwal, Founder and CEO of Oyo Room, Founder and CEO of Zomato Deepinder Goyal, Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt), Amit Jain (CEO and Co-founder of CarDekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com), Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (Founder and CEO of Lenskart.com) will be the judges of the show.
In the latest episode, we see Dalip Kumar pitch his love-making furniture which also incorporates meditation along with Kama Sutra Elements. The brand is named Luvottica and stands out for its unique innovation.
Vineeta and Namita will tease Ritesh and ask him, “Aap bataiye ye kya hai aapki shaadi hui hai?” Ritesh will play along and say, “Mujhe kya pata?” The sharks try to control their laugh as the pitcher comes to present his pitch.
Dalip Kumar from Punjab pitches his love-making furniture which focuses on sexual wellness, meditation as well as yoga.
As Dalip asks for Rs 2 crores for 10% equity, Anupam will ask him, “Kama sutra se prerit Dalip Kumar, welcome to Shark Tank India. Are you married?”
To this Kumar replies, “Yes, I am. I am married and 39 years old.”
Namita then curiously asks Dalip, “If some relative comes to your house, how will you introduce this product?” The founder replies, “You can also call it rest lounger.”
Anupam adds, “Aapne interesting position me, s*x life me mirchi tadka lagaya. Next day, you see your relative coming and using that seat. What are you seeing? You will see them? You are saying to introduce it as a rest lounger. Sabki neeyat kharaab karoge aap. Parivaar ka parivaar todoge aap.”
When the founder says that his product has a lot of scope in the hotel industry, the sharks are left in split.
Vineeta adds, “You made a point that in the last 20 years love making has reduced because there’s a lot of stress and lifestyle factors. Maybe it is right. But I do not believe that sexual furniture is the solution. This solution is irrelevant.”
Sadly Dalip gets no deal.
