MUMBAI: Charu Asopa is a well-known actor in the entertainment world. She is known for portraying Natkhat Pari in the TV series Baalveer, Preeti in the TV series Mere Angne Mein, and Piyali in the TV show Jiji Maa.
She also played the role of played Tanya in the Indian superhero trilogy serial ‘Maharakshak: Devi. Additionally, Charu joined the cast of the television series Tashan-e-Ishq in 2016 and took on the character of Dr. Pallavi, playing the role of antagonist. In the television series “Laado 2: Ek Nayi Shuruaat,” Charu Asopa portrayed Kajal Kuldeep Sethi, the show’s central character. She joined programs like Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha and Karn Sangini as well.
She has been in the news recently for her tumultuous relationship with her husband Rajeev Sen. The two have had ups and downs for a little while. They had initially filed for divorce but then reconciled before separating again in October 2022.
Charu made allegations against Rajeev about physical abuse and also that he cheated on her during her pregnancy.

She said, “My professional life has really been affected so much because I could not go to meetings. Rajeev has major trust issues and he used to doubt me a lot. He has messaged my co-stars and told them to stay away from me. My character was killed off because the makers of the show thought that my husband at that time was capable of creating a hostile work environment and causing trouble among my co-stars. I lost that show because of all the drama that he created.”
Charu and Rajeev have been going back and forth for a little while, and people are only praying that this matter resolves quickly for the sake and well-being of their daughter Ziana. They want both parties to be at peace.
